Private
I have been thinking about going private for a while now and since the boys have been born Gary and I feel like it's time. If you would still like to read our blog we would love to have you. Send me an e-mail at bethgard{at}gmail.com and I'll make sure to get you and invite. We're planning on going private in about two weeks.

Moved up a weight class
We had our one month weigh in at the end of last week and let me tell you my boys are little piglets and gaining weight faster than anyone would expect little preemies to grow. When we brought them home from the hospital Carter weighed 4lb 9oz and Maxwell weighed 5lb 1 oz. A month later Carter weighs 6lb 5oz and Maxwell weighs 6lb 11 oz. No wonder I feel like I can barely keep up with feeding them. Must be that Gard appetite.
Sleeping
Dinner Time
First Time at Church
August 30 was the boys first day at church. It went pretty well however it did mess with their schedule and made that night really hard so I believe we will only be attending sacrament for a while. They look so handsome

Sell Out
So a few weeks ago I called my sister-in-law a sell out because she started using reusable shopping bags at the suggestion of her hippie boss. She and I held strongly together in our belief about the environment and global warming. By no means do I think we should abuse our earth I just don't think things are as bad as some would have us to believe. I don't recycle. My mom does and that's great but it's a ton of work. At her house you have to rinse things out, carry them to a different receptacle and then she has to haul her recyclables all around town to dispose of them because the collection bins and places are not located by each other.
Anyway, I now am being forced into considering the reusable shopping bag because the current plastic bags stores are starting to use are just not getting the job done. Seriously I don't know why everyone thinks these bags take so long to biodegrade because they start doing it before you get home. I went to the store a week ago and honestly every bag I had was falling apart by the time I made it to my car. No they were not overloaded they were just so weak sauce it wasn't even funny. I could hear the mission impossible theme playing in the car on my way home and sure enough by the time I had them all inside most no longer had handles. So if you see me with my reusable bags rest assured it's not because I don't want more plastic bags being used it's because I would like to make it home without dropping majority of my groceries on my garage floor.
